“Didnt have my booking on the system, appeared to give me the reserve room that they use for last case scenarios. The stairwell ran diagonally above the bed so every time someone walked up the stairs it boomed through just above your head. Hidden charges for using the gym. Main reception in a different building. Free parking was the only decent part. ”

“1 night stay as part of a longer holiday. Stayed previously at the Cally Palace and had a great stay. The room was well appointed in a quiet area of the hotel and was very comfortable with views towards the woods at the rear of the hotel. We had an evening meal which was very enjoyable, our table being close to an open log fire. The hotel is located 5 minutes from the A75 but is far enough away that there is no noise from passing traffic. The breakfast was good, there being plenty of choice……

“It was an ideal place for my husband and I, and our 2 dogs after being in the area for an Off roading event. The food was lovely and the staff super helpful, including offering to make numerous other event guests a takeaway breakfast as we were leaving early. Thank you to all the staff. ”

“Very nice hotel, beautiful interior and well kept and clean. Superior room was lovely and very spacious. Nice welcome pack of tea, coffee and biscuits. Replenished daily and I got extra tea and milk no problem. Beautiful views. Lovely surroundings and a nice play area for children. Nice for walks. Good parking available and it is for electric vehicles too. Food was lovely and great choices for hot and cold continental breakfast.
