“I absolutely love this property. Great Sans Dunes National Park is a quick 10 minute drive up the road, which was the reason for our visit. What an easy drive!It was wonderful communication with Gail, she was so helpful and kind. She also has FRESH flowers in the home which you don't see anymore. The home was decorated beautifully and it was perfect for us. Everything was comfortable. I'd absolutely stay here again on my next visit!”

“I came to visit hoping to stay in a nice quiet area with a view of the mountains. I was instead treated to a gorgeous and carefully cared for property with beautiful flowers and a gorgeous view. The area was extremely clean, check in took less than 5 minutes, the property owner was extremely welcoming and available. I would not trade this vacation for ANYTHING. “Our stay was great, the property, view, and cleanliness were first class. The beds were a little small and the shower temp only barely lukewarm. I wish we had had the time to hang out there, because the view is amazing. Very nicely decorated. My biggest complaint is there is no street number posted at the gate. Also, the numbers are not consecutive on the road. And there was no mention of a sign or a ranch name in the instructions or address info. We arrived after dark, looked for an hour,……

“The Rustic Rook Resort is a fabulous new addition to the Yurt/Bin wave of alternative to hotel stays. It is just a few miles from the Great Sand Dunes National Park that is simply awe inspiring and has fabulous sledding on the Dunes for the entire family. Excellent dining is about 20 minutes away in downtown Alamosa. The stars at night are incredible. We stayed in a Bin, which was less rustic than the name would imply. It was perfect for my husband and I, and our dog. We wouldn't hesitate……

“The cabin itself was very comfortable, clean, and well-appointed with everything one could think of. It felt spacious. The area was remote, with Westcliffe just 1/2 hr away. Deer and rabbits abounded close to the house The hosts were very responsive and friendly. Very highly recommended.”
