“Stayed in Naomi’s home for a weekend with some friends visiting from out of town! We had a great time and was pleased with the home + it was very comfortable and easy to drive to the beach. The paddleboards and beach chairs that came included for our use were awesome! There were some small issues - one of the bedrooms had a duvet that unfortunately smelled and we had to remove it, and while we were staying we experienced issues with the hot tub that were not resolved by the time our stay ended,……

“This cottage is perfect for families / friends who want to enjoy the beach! Plenty of space for our group of 6, comfortable bedrooms and living space, 2 bathrooms, an awesome kitchen, and space outside for drying towels and swimsuits to head back to the beach the next day. Just walk over the dune to be on the beach - no roads to cross or parking hassles. Easy! I contacted the owner once to ask a silly question during our stay and the response was immediate. Outstanding communication throughout.……

“Great stay in Michigan city property was very clean and had everything we needed with close walk to the beach. Also equipped with everything we needed for our baby including baby monitor and high chair. Loved the back yard for fires every night. ”

“The cleanliness of the home was definitely lacking. We travel a great deal all over the US and always opt for home/flat rentals. Typically they are spotless and comfortable. This one was far from clean. The stove was dirty, rbe floors looked like they hadn't been swept, the window panes had debris/dirt. The coffee pot looked like it was dirty, but perhaps it was just stained. The ice/water feature of the refrigerator wasn't operational which was very annoying. We also check that ice and water……

“The host was communicative and amenable to a late check out which was appreciated. The property was a good size and there was even a pool that we did not expect, or use as it wasn’t fully functional. But most of all it was not very clean, we went through and wiped all the surfaces, the bed we used had dirty sheets, and none of the outdoor furnishings had been cleaned. We purchased and replaced the kitchen and bathroom rugs and the kitchen did not have a good set up of utensils, etc. We use……
