“The staff were nice and welcoming. The walls were thin, so you hear other guests, but luckily it wasn’t too noisy. We had booked 3 nights, but had to move to another hotel because our room had bed bugs (or something of the sort). We hardly got any sleep because we were so itchy.”

“I always enjoy staying here - nice location, friendly staff, quirky rooms, nice pub downstairs. Be warned that this is not a standard, generic hotel! An older building with "character", which I enjoy but others may not. Would not be good if you have mobility issues: lots of stairs (even in the rooms), small elevator, baths difficult to enter/exit. Internet OK but spotty in some locations. Walls are fairly thin (you can hear your neighbors talking) but I've never heard the pub patrons, even……
