“This little quaint place provides the comfort and warmth required for skiing in upper Michigan. We brought our 4 children 14, 16, 19, and 22 and it suited us so much better than a hotel. Support was wonderful with the correct info at right time, not too pesty. Love this place! ”

“8 adults went for the weekend for a local wedding across the lake at Sojourn. That facility was booked up. The Bigfoot Lodge was a FANTASTIC alternative, and I would say even better than staying on site. The rooms were clean. The firepit in the backyard was perfect - wood and starter bundles ready to go! There is a dock with lake toys to utilize. We rented a pontoon boat for transport to and from the wedding across the lake - able to tie up at the dock without issue. The property manager was……

“We visited the property for a mid-winter break and ski trip. We had a good time but had some difficulty with the amount of snow and paths not being shoveled. The access to the driveway was difficult and we got stuck but able to get out. The layout of the place was great and hosts were helpful. It would be great to visit again in the summer when we could enjoy the lake. ”

“The house was clean and cozy. There were no issues checking in, and there is a lot of sleeping space! The bunk beds were a hit with the little ones. When looking up directions, the address does not show up in google maps. Use the gps/map through VRBO otherwise Google will take you a very roundabout way to get there that is confusing.(this was operator error on my part).”

Had separate towels for the house the and pool. Frank personalized a welcome video which I thought was super cool! Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway!”
