“This hotel seemed to be recently renovated so everything was in great condition. The staff was exceptionally friendly and service was great. Hotel is not a "strip" hotel, but bus transport is right outside that can take you downtown and to the bus station to connect to other areas. 2great supermarkets are 5 minutes walk from the hotel so you can stock up on room snacks very easily. “This house was so adorable! We were running extremely late do to a change in our flight but the owner stayed up to greet us. She showed us around the village and where the stores were. Even offered to check on us if we needed it. The house itself was cozy and well kept. We had the pleasure of having a nice dog hang out outside our door. We did run into some issues back home that caused us to have to leave early. The owner was very kind and even offered us a deal so our money wasn't going to be……

“Stunning property in a newly restored old house. Beautiful, spacious and well-appointed room. The common areas were comfortable and there was a lovely balcony. The breakfast which was beautifully served on the balcony was beyond compare. Local, fresh, and delicious Cretan treats. Archanes is close to Heraklion and the palace of Knossos and had plenty of dining options. We were in Greece for three weeks and our night at Carpe Diem was probably our best stay. Can’t recommend highly enough. ”
