“Not great communication. No response when asked if early check in was possible. "Hot tub" listed in amenities is actually a jet bathtub (standard tub size) Never have i been charged a cleaning fee and then have the owner expect us to sweep, mop, dust, change light bulbs if they burn out, take garbahe to curb, etc. ”

“This home was wonderful starting with the location in the are and extending to the location on a peninsula on the water. the rooms were more than adequate for the four us. A good gas kitchen and eating area with ample sitting area. including a screened in porch. We felt very secluded. we would rent this home again.”

“The Popple Lake cabin was absolutely charming. The owners have provided more than is necessary for a wonderful time. The views of the lake, the sunsets and the quiet are the things dreams are made of. ”

“I was in Holcombe for a wedding and was looking for a place to stay close to the Eastbay Lodge. Location was great, place was clean and had everything we needed.”

“We do our annual girls' weekend here and love having the variety of places to sit and gab. We cook some in the fire pit and like to lounge on the patio furniture. If it rains we sit in the living room or screened in porch. It's a lovely, quiet setting. Check in and out was smooth and easy and we had everything we needed. ”
