“The notes I made to refer to when we got back was - Very Nice. The room was very comfortable; staff was great. . .everything you want in a hotel. We only used the hotel for nights, as we arrived from Limerick late and then went to the Cliffs of Moher. I looked at this hotel, because all the downtown Galway Hotels referred to no parking (we had a rental), noisy, thin walled rooms. I was very happy with our choice. “This is our third visit to Galway. The House Hotel was a good fit for us. We like being to be able to walk around Galway. There are many shops, night spots and restaurants to dine at within walking distance. The hotel does have an elevator. Parking is relatively close and it isn't free. Breakfast was good. I prefer perked coffee and had to have Americano here. Would recommend. ”

“The property is unique as it is right on the main street of the Latin Quarter. Restaurants and pubs are steps from the door. The hotel staff are amazing- kind and thoughtful, ready to help as needed 24/7. They treated our group as treasured family. We love this hotel. ”

“Highlights: charming location and convenient to cliffs of Moher and Lahinch - great little surf town. Charming room - very well maintained. Restaurant is open late into evening when most else is closed. Food is excellent. Breakfast was hearty and good - not sure it’s worth the higher priced rooms though. Wish list: There was no AC. “You are staying in a cozy, 700 year old building in the center of the Latin Quarter in Galway, with air conditioning! If you don’t understand the connection between Galway and Spain, look it up on Wikipedia. Fabulous location, fabulous staff, fabulous cozy room with en suite bathroom. Laundromat around the corner. The only downside is all the stairs but, 700 years old.”
