“Amazing country manor! Gracious rooms. Wonderful staff. Delicious breakfast! Very close to Oban. Quiet! The only slight I had was the over abundance of smell. Each area has reed diffusers and it is a lot of smell. As someone sensitive to that it was a bit much. I put our reed diffuser in a closet and then it was fine. Would I recommend this to friends? 1000%! You have to see it to believe it. Absolutely amazing! ”

“We were looking for easy access to the railway station and ferry port - Pierrooms could not have been closer to both. The room is small but we were so impressed with the overall cleanliness and comfort of the beds that we booked again for our return journey. The only improvement I would suggest is a small shelf for the top bunk.”

“A lovely stay in Oban, staff were pleasant and helpful, the bed was very comfortable , it is acknowledged the hotel is going through a refurbishment and will be excellent once this is complete. Location is great with easy walk to the town centre. ”

“Old hotel and not really clean. Hair on linen. The worst thing is no wifi connection at all because they are fixing it for days. The hotel should inform guests who want to book the hotel in advance rather than saying sorry after we arrived. Really bad experience as we are cheated.”

“This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The condition of the room was extremely poor and absolutely not worth the price. What was most unacceptable was that the room I was given looked nothing like the photos shown on the booking website. Instead of a standard room on the main floors, I was placed in one of two attic rooms, which were dark, cramped, and completely unsuitable for use as hotel accommodation. The wardrobe was old, dirty, and poorly maintained, with doors that……

“Ett äldre mysigt litet hotell. Vi hade tur som fick ett rum på 3:e våningen för det finns ingen hiss. Litet rum men rent och mycket skön säng. Toppen med badkar som vi passade på att nyttja. Vi åt frukost sista morgonen och den var god och väl tilltagen, dock ganska dyr. Ägaren jätterar och charmig och serviceminded. Läget perfekt. Vi saknade fri Wi-Fi men ett ställe nära (LuLu) hade bra uppkoppling så en drink och lite surfing blev bra.”

“Upon returning to our room after a long day of viewing the beautiful sites of Mull and Iona we found the room had not been serviced. When we inquired we were told the "do not disturb" sign was on our door. It was not! We asked for a fresh supplys of coffees, etc. It took three trys to get it. The worst part was the staff was argumentative about the do not distrub sign. It put a damper on a beautiful day.”
