“Perfect hotel for me, my partner, and dog! Other hotels and airbnbs in the area were extra expensive and/or not pet-friendly due to LDW, and we didn’t want to spend $1,000+ for just a 3-night stay. If you’re looking for a hotel that’s affordable, perfectly located, has a lot of outdoor activities, very dog friendly, and a midwest/vintage charm, Sun & Sand is a great choice. While the rooms are a bit outdated, they were clean and well-kept. The bathroom was especially clean. Some of these reviews……

We didn’t use the pool due to the weather but it looked nice and warm. Would definitely recommend a stay and would come back here again!”

I’m not a fan of the sink outside the bathroom, but in the olden days, bedrooms didn’t have attached bathrooms. There’s only so much that can be done with a small space in an historic building. Brendan was awesome. ”
