“We stayed here over Fourth of July weekend and we all had so much fun! Watching the fireworks over the lake was absolutely magical. The house is cozy, cute, and comfortable. The covered porch cannot be beat and the dock made swimming a blast! We roasted marshmallows in the outdoor fireplace and cooked most of our meals in the indoor kitchen, which had everything we needed. Try McClard’s BBQ and DeLuca’s Pizza while you’re in town!”

“Property was clean, even better than the photos, dock was wonderful to swim off of and they had a ton of stuff for the kids to use down there. The house was big enough for our family and small enough that we weren’t all just in different areas all the time. Great property and great hosts!”

“If you are looking for simple living this is it. No indoor plumbing but AC, fridge, microwave, and WiFi. ”

“We loved every minute of our time at Whispering Pines and in Mt. Ida. We were able to disconnect and enjoyed much needed family time. We loved the hammocks, fire pit, creek and the hiking near the cabin. We didn’t do everything g we wanted and everyone was ok with that! The cabin was so cute and clean and the kids loved having for life upstairs to sleep in. ”

“My sister and I stayed here for 2 nights. It was clean and quiet. Checking in and out was so easy. Definitely worth the price. It’s a small cabin with a bed, small fridge and a microwave so it has electricity. It also has water outside and a fire ring. There I also showers and bathrooms located on the property. It’s less than a 1/4 mile from crater of diamonds state park. Will definitely stay again! ”

“We stayed for two night for our anniversary. It was perfect! The cabin had everything we needed and was very clean. My favorite part was sitting on the back porch swing while listening/watching the water from the Little Missouri River. It was so peaceful.”

“Perfect little getaway spot! Nice and quiet for relaxing outside. The neighbors are extremely close but very friendly. There are very high privacy fences on both sides. Bed was comfortable but sofa bed not so much. The shower is for shorter people, we are both over 5’7 and had to squat down to wash our hair. We also couldn’t set the thermostat below 70 degrees, so we had 3 box fans going 24/7, there are no ceiling fans to keep the air moving. Other than those few complaints, everything else was……

“Don’t stay here unless you’re ready to have a truly amazing time. this home was amazing in everything they have prepared for our stay even little extras, like condiments and seasonings laundry soap and luscious towels and fans for extra air. It was a fabulous place.”

“Great get away”

“Super clean. Perfect for two couples with separate king bedrooms and private baths. Barbeque pit was a bonus that was well used. Kitchen is well equipped. Corn hole boards on the back porch was fun as well as the diamond digging equipment to borrow was a plus.Overall we did not need a thing that wasn’t available.”

“My wife and I went to float the caddo for a birthday trip. This cabin is great for a romantic getaway. There are 3 cabins right on the water with grills off to the side. Very peaceful and relaxing. The host replied very quickly with any issues or questions I had. 10/10 would stay again! ”
