“Unique experience staying in the yellow caboose! It’s located on a hill that overlooks the train tracks and from afar you can see the traffic on hwy 58. The deck is perfect for sitting and enjoying the wildlife (deer) and for birdwatching. Indoors everything is perfectly furnished and immaculately clean. It’s a cozy VRBO and we’d book it again. Hosts respond quickly to any questions which was very much appreciated.”

“We really enjoyed staying on this property. Downtown Tehachapi isn't far away and this is a beautiful quiet spot. The hot tub was magnificent! The coffee pot is a regular one and there is also an electric tea kettle. The 4th bedroom does not have a door, but it was fine for my teenager. I recommend additional towels for hot tub and there weren't a lot of washcloths, but plenty of towels. The road to get there can get muddy, so consider that depending on the time of year. “Our family came to Tehachapi for our grandsons graduation, celebrating another grandsons graduation also. We enjoyed our family time together gathering on the porch, love that porch, swimming, the boys bought a badminton set and set up in the yard to play. Big kitchen to cook our meals. We enjoyed our time!!”

“A very nice house with lots of space and nice furnishings. The PacMan machine was a hit with our teen. It's off the grid but close to town. Gravel roads are a bit rough but nothing our 2 wheel drive sedan had any problem with. It was quite windy while we were there but the beautiful hills and views were wonderful.”
