We were able to book this location in the nick of time and we just cant say enough good things about the location, the views and Mr. And Mrs. Layne. Everything worked out perfect and I dont think it could have possibly gone better. Thanks to both of you for letting us have our wedding there.”

“We had a great stay at the farmhouse at Peaks of Otter Winery in Bedford, VA! My husband & I needed rest and relaxation and the stay at Elmo's Rest farmhouse did not disappoint!! It's remote enough in the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains for peace & quiet but close enough to town (about 17 minute drive) to get to the grocery store, gas station, and very yummy Joe's Coffee Shack where I got a Caramel Machiatto everyday :) Definitely book this if you want to retreat and spend time alone or with……

“The hosts are amazing. We had a family emergency happen just prior to the original date we had booked. They were so accommodating with us and allowed us to reschedule. The weather was cold and a little rainy but the house was great and the views were breathtaking. We will definitely visit again when it is warmer to see the apple orchards and enjoy the views again. ”

“We loved the grain bin! It was very cozy and had everything we would need for the weekend. We enjoyed walking around the farm and looking at the cows (we made sure to close and chain the gates!) Jimmy was very responsive to our questions. It was a wonderful weekend!”
