We were able to book this location in the nick of time and we just cant say enough good things about the location, the views and Mr. And Mrs. Layne. Everything worked out perfect and I dont think it could have possibly gone better. Thanks to both of you for letting us have our wedding there.”

“We had a great stay at the farmhouse at Peaks of Otter Winery in Bedford, VA! My husband & I needed rest and relaxation and the stay at Elmo's Rest farmhouse did not disappoint!! It's remote enough in the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains for peace & quiet but close enough to town (about 17 minute drive) to get to the grocery store, gas station, and very yummy Joe's Coffee Shack where I got a Caramel Machiatto everyday :) Definitely book this if you want to retreat and spend time alone or with……

“We loved the grain bin! It was very cozy and had everything we would need for the weekend. We enjoyed walking around the farm and looking at the cows (we made sure to close and chain the gates!) Jimmy was very responsive to our questions. It was a wonderful weekend!”

“Wonderful communication with owner/manager. Fabulous kitchen with so many utensils and appliances. Icemaker was amazing. It was a cold rainy weekend, but the house accommodated all of us with ease, provided privacy, and a great time! This is a new neighborhood so construction workers were around, but we’re entertaining to watch! “We had a great 2 night stay. House was nice and clean. Lots of towels, tp, paper towels and soaps at sinks available. Very comfy main room couch. We enjoyed the wrap around deck. We had our 5 month old in our pack and play in one bedroom. One child in another bedroom. One child on the main couch. We used the fire pit. They had a couple fire cooking forks for s’mores.
