“We had a lovely stay at this charming vintage farmhouse located close to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, and Northeast Harbor. The location was ideal for exploring the area, and the peaceful surroundings made for a relaxing home base.The home was clean overall, and the kitchen was well-equipped with appliances, making meal prep easy. “This is a wonderful (old) house with lots of space. The bedrooms are nicely separate, making it perfect for any group of people that would like some level of privacy. The outdoor fire pit is especially nice. It is 25-30 minute distance from Acadia and Bar Harbor, which we did not find an obstacle. It has a large dinging room table perfect for dinner and games. The kitchen is well furnished. Really perfect for a family visit to Acadia. ”

“The house was nice and the owner was great to deal with, she provided a lot of local knowledge on things to do. I will say that it is on a surprisingly busy road. But the horses were great and the family loved to give them apple slices and carrots. Overall I would recommend it to anyone looking for something like this. Also it’s not too far from Bar Harbor and Arcadia.”

“Our grown children who live in neighboring states met us in Maine for a long weekend together. The house has lots of vintage charm and a welcoming soul. The kitchen, dining and living rooms were the perfect size for our group. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Everyone but me slept well (I'm a VERY high maintenance sleeper and should have brought my own pillows) The property is beautiful and secluded.
