“Wonderful! Not sure how anyone could give a bad review. Incredibly friendly staff, welcoming to my pup, beautiful location and view. Quiet and peaceful. I didn’t try the restaurant downstairs but it was packed and it’s off season. Comfy bed, huge bathroom and great shower. The only thing I would say is the third floor has very narrow stairs that would be hard for folks with mobility issues. Also it was a little weird to have to walk through a restaurant to go to your room but doubt it would be……

“The property was charming, and I wish I had more time to take in the Ellis Inn's other amenities. I felt bad that I missed the original breakfast time on my first morning there due to jet lag, but Paula was so accommodating. The room was great, and the bed was a little too comfortable. “If you’re gonna get snowed in anywhere, this is the place to do it! We made snow angels and had a beautiful snowshoe on the frozen lake. Also a very cozy spot to binge watch some TV and relax. The great ice Vt festival was very fun- we supported many local artists, businesses.”
