“Great lake get-away for my wife and my parents and specifically for my mom's birthday. House is as advertised and was decorated like you think a lake property should be. “The house is large, lots of beds for a family of 13. Ages 1 to 64. The house is centrally located for the DFW area attractions that appeal to a family on Spring Break. Excellent response time with the owner when it was needed. The pool was cold. One grandson braved a quick pool plunge. The hot tub was great. The cover was split. Unfortunately, the Texas sun does that to tub covers. We would definitely choose this property again if the need arrives. ”

“The property we booked through Verbo was perfect for us and such a pleasant stay. The host was quick to answer our questions and very kind each time. The property was clean and exactly as described. It is such a beautiful property. The location was ideal. We had a wedding and rehearsal dinner at nearby venues and each of them were less that 10 minutes from the property. “My cousin and I stayed here in April 2025 and drove about 30 minutes to Ennis to see the Bluebonnet fields and festival. Waxahachie has several cutie boutiques for a nice girls trip. The hosts were super nice. We called once for restaurant and more shopping suggestions. They definitely helped us out.The house was very clean and extremely organized. There is plenty of space. The neighborhood is quiet and feels safe. He hosts live just around the corner. I would definitely stay here again.”

“We had a wonderful time here with our family! There were 8 adults and 7 children (almost 3 - 9). One of our families could only come for the day, but we had planned on them staying (2 adults, 3 children ages 1-5). There would have been plenty of room for all! The house is very nice, had everything we needed, and was very clean. Adults and kids enjoyed the hot tub, even in Dec - Jan! (Adults at 11 pm and kids during the day!) We also enjoyed the fire pit on New Year's Eve! The balconies were fun……

“This was my group's third time staying at The Rove at L5. Like previous stays/reviews, we were very pleased with the property. One thing I can add this year is that it ii obvious that they are investing money into this property. There were some upgrades that were noticed by my group. Also, my caterer backed out at the last minute. The property manager, Brandi, gave me some recommendations that saved the day. I have found her to always be responsive and helpful.”

“We took a short "staycation" to enjoy the large house so everyone could have their own rooms. The beds were so comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud in the master. The hot tub and sauna were thoroughly enjoyed because the weather didn't cooperate with swimming in the pool. It was a perfect place to bring our dog because the yard was fully enclosed. The only thing I wish was different is that there were basic condiments like salt and pepper and that there was coffee. We would've brought our own……
