“We loved our stay. They countryside is beautiful, the property is very well kept and clean. The decor is beautiful and the porch was fantastic. Host was very quick to answer me if I sent any message, and was simply a pleasure to communicate with. The occasional trains were a novelty for my daughter- excited to count cars, and we didn’t even use the earplugs left for us at night- but they are such thoughtful hosts to provide them for those that might want them! Will definitely stay again on……

“This house was perfect for our needs. The hostess was quick to respond. I did not want for anything she had thought of everything. ”

“The house is an older one, but very clean inside. We loved having a washer-dryer at our disposal. Refrig was a great size and the kitchen was nicely remodeled. We were in town for a Celebration of Life. Family from an hour away gathered with us and we were all comfortable in the living or sun room. A few things missing like shampoo and conditioner and Kleenex. These can be easily remedied. Thanks for an excellent stay. ”

“This is a nice house with spacious rooms, but we encountered several issues with regards to cleanliness. There were clumps of hair on the floors, in the pool, and even on the front porch. Items were left in the backyard from previous guests. Food was caked on various surfaces. The towels were rolled up neatly on the beds, but they were very damp. There was also a significant fly infestation that seemed to be primarily in the kitchen. I wondered if food had been left out, or if the trashcan……

“This was my group's third time staying at The Rove at L5. Like previous stays/reviews, we were very pleased with the property. One thing I can add this year is that it ii obvious that they are investing money into this property. There were some upgrades that were noticed by my group. Also, my caterer backed out at the last minute. The property manager, Brandi, gave me some recommendations that saved the day. I have found her to always be responsive and helpful.”

“We stayed at this house for the weekend of my brother's wedding. There were 6 adults and one toddler. There was plenty of room for us to have our own space but also be comfortable in the living spaces to visit. It was a short drive to restaurants and stores. We highly recommend this house to anyone needing to spend time in the area! ”

“We met friends here for a fun weekend in Waxahachie. The house was great - very clean, close to downtown. It has one bed/bath and a powder room downstairs; upstairs is another bedroom with two queen beds and a third bedroom with a queen bed. There is a second full bath upstairs. There are two separate sitting rooms, a full kitchen, and a sweet little library room. LOTS of great books to pull from if you need a book break! ”
