“My husband and I stayed in the cottage for 5 nights while visiting his sister in Whitney. It was very clean and reasonably well-appointed, and the bed was quite comfortable. The best feature was the side porch, which looked out on a lovely little wooded garden. The landscaping, lighting, and water feature made the space feel very cozy. We spent each morning and evening there. The main house is closer to the cottage than the photos suggested, but it still felt very private. The lake is just a……

“We just needed it for a one night stay. Wish the drive there was smoother but knew what we were getting into. Only recommendation would be updating accommodations from sleeps 4 to sleeps 3 as there’s only one queen bed and a twin bed. Host was great about communicating and allowing us to check in a little early ”

“The Texas Country experience was our pursuit, and Kim's place fit perfecrtly, with the area weekend assembly for our daughter's wedding. The house was roomy and comfortable, with all the amenities, and was decorated with country charm. It was quiet and nicely located for our Waxahatchee activity and the DFW and Love Field airport runs. The trains were neat too. ”

“We stayed at this house for the weekend of my brother's wedding. There were 6 adults and one toddler. There was plenty of room for us to have our own space but also be comfortable in the living spaces to visit. It was a short drive to restaurants and stores. We highly recommend this house to anyone needing to spend time in the area! ”

“Unbelievable property and great stay. Beware the stairs. Not super friendly for those who can’t navigate heavy stairs. However, parking directly in front was no problem for us. Again, for those agile enough, perfect walking distance to the square. Dining, shopping, etc. We chose to travel and stay this year, as my wife loves to attend the Renaissance Fair for Mother’s Day every year and we wanted to make it a weekend versus a turnaround trip. Couldn’t have worked out better and will be repeating……
