“We stayed 4 nights, clean and quiet! Host was amazing at replying…..really we didn’t try to bother her much. We were confused about parking but it’s just in front of this rental instead of on the side. We went exploring mostly, but coming back to a comfy house was great instead of a hotel. Thank you! Definitely recommend! ”

“The Red House is in a quiet area and was well stocked with any and everything you might need. The host even provided fresh eggs and muffins for breakfast!!! If we are ever back in the area we will stay here again.”

“I had booked this property in Jan 2025. We had unexpected sickness with family and couldn't travel and the Property Manager worked with us to reschedule. Then when it was time to go again we got 10 inches of snow and couldn't go, once again the Property Management worked with us!! Amazing and easy PM. The stay was very nice as well. Location is pretty. We enjoyed our stay.”

“Four of us got together to watch the National Championship. The location was central to all of us. The house was clean and comfortable. Not too far from a dollar store and then a short drive to Marion if you want restaurants and shopping. Too cold for the lake but nice view and would probably be a great summer stay.”

“Stayed at this property during a weekend hunting trip to Ballard WMA. Perfect for what we needed. Older farm house, not perfect but had good heat, hot water and room for 4 adults. Owner was very nice and communicated very well. Checked to make sure we had everything needed. Very accommodating!”

“Beautiful home and property looking out to wonderful lake view. Host is great, everything was cozy and welcoming. Fenced yard down to dock is terrific if you are traveling with pets. Very clean house, stocked with everything needed. Thank you!”

“We had a wonderful stay for the weekend. Excellent property and location. Fire pit is awesome! Very clean and functional house. Would definitely stay there again.”

“I have never left a review before. But this host 100% deserves one. The house was just as promised. Beds, layout, etc were all good. What stands out at this property above others I have stayed in the past was the host understood hospitality. All the little details were considered, and communication was great from start to finish. My group ran into a little issue or two, and the host made sure everything was taken care of but then went above and beyond. The house was good, but the experience was……
