“Very nice resort. Our room was very clean although I will mention that there was kind of a musty smell so we felt the need to open the windows quite a bit to get fresh air. There are screens on the windows so that was not an issue. Breakfast was really nice so was the pool and hot tub. “Great location, right on Lake Francis. Lots of loon activity around dusk was a plus. Access to the Connecticut lakes was very good, the furthest away being only 30min. Not to mention the drive being along “moose alley”. We were lucky enough to spot one despite only staying for two nights. Property was in good shape, no complaints. Easy check in with personalized lock code. We didn’t end up needing anything but property manager was in contact and very responsive. Would stay again!”

“This has been our favorite hotel of the Sunday River area. We went in August and they had the pool at probably 94F, easy to walk in and relax for a while. Each night they had a nice diy drink setup with instructions. Each night the outdoor fire place was going - one night was marshmallows to roast.. the other night full on smores. Internet was fast. “This property is a treasure. We stumbled upon it as we were coming out of Maine late at night. It is a historic property with an antique elevator and metal keys for each room. The grounds are beautiful and the workers were hard at work to keep it up. There were signs of wear, but we were still impressed and expressed the desire to bring my mother-in-law who would definitely enjoy the historic aspect. The area around this property in NH is gorgeous. We will be back. I will say my 18 year old son……
