“We had a lovely long weekend in this Woodstock home. The house was clean, minor issues were taken care of quickly by Monika. Would definitely stay there again! ”

“First off, so there is no confusion, we loved our time at the house, on the property, overall great. A couple things definitely would want to convey. If you’re going in the winter and there is snow, the house is truly in the woods, and a 4 Wheel Drive vehicle was very necessary. ”

“We stayed here as a group of 9 friends for a ski weekend and this place was absolutely perfect for us. The house was extremely clean and a great size for our group. We loved the hot tub, living room setup and games in the house. Sunday River is only a 12 minute drive from the house. Trevor, the host, was wonderfully communicative and our check-in and check-out processes were very easy. We would absolutely stay here again.”

“The Western Maine Yurts stay was a fun experience. It was clean and comfortable-- even in the coldest part of the Maine winter. I stayed 4 nights with my dog and we had a great time!”

“The yurt was nice. The bathrooms were the cleanest and nicest I've seen. I was surprised when we learned we were going to get charged extra to have a fire, very disappointing and the amount of mosquitos was atrocious! We stayed in a tiny house next to a swamp and had less mosquitos! Unfortunately both the mosquitos and inability to have a small fire without getting charged really soured the yurt experience. I would rather have paid $10 more initially than being told it cost $10 to have a small……

“We had a great time staying in the yurts. We were traveling with another couple and we were able to get yurts next to one another making it easier to hang out together. We definitely took advantage of the fire pit outside. I would absolutely recommend this place! ”

“Great place for a few friend's or a family of 4 . We went to sunday river for a quick snowboarding trip. The yurt was conveniently close to the mountain and town. If you can get past the shared outhouse and bath house, which in fact was very nice and heated, this is a great choice.”

“Overall, the yurt was located near town and the ski areas.The biggest complaint was the neighbors. Partied two nights in a row loudly and late…Noisiest I’ve ever had the wilderness be….It was a short stay I wished we could have acclimated to the place more. Would love to explore the trails and more around Bethel. Building and bathhouse are nicely done. Outhouse…needed some lime plus I’m not sure the party goers next door were great to share it with…bad aim.”

“Its impossible to sleep in the bunk bed because all the heat is going up there. Its about 20 degrees hotter on the high bunk bed then the bottom bed. It was very strange. ”

“We had such a great time in our Yurt. It was so cozy with all the twinkle lights! Couldn’t believe how clean everything was including the bath house! Already want to go back!”
