“So glad we chose the Albergo Alpenrose for our weekend ski trip. It’s next to the lift for local slopes, and close to the bus stop that has free services to the wider Monterosa ski area. Sylvia offered a warm welcome, the room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious. The sauna was a bonus at the end of a long day on the slopes. We were offered a late checkout, which meant we could ski on our last day and come back for a shower before heading to the airport - amazing service. The……

“Friendly staff. I can see the Matterhorn directly from the balcony of my room. The accommodation is quiet and comfortable. Location is good, only 10 minutes away from the station. ”

“Wonderful, quaint family owned hotel. Everything you need with the kindest staff. We checked in late night- be sure to mention it to the staff and they helped us with so many details in our short stay. Our only hesitation was a concern that after reading some reviews the hotel might be further from the main downtown area in Zermatt- psssh, perfect location just a short walk (and thats from a suburbanite american) from everything. “The hotel was great for its value. The room was very cozy and functional although being small. It was super clean as well and the bathroom was very nice and modern. Amazing view of the Matterhorn from the balcony. Good breakfast and friendly staff. No AC but it wasn’t a problem at all, I asked for a fan when I checked in in the afternoon, but in general it’s ok with the window open. Happy that there’s an elevator too.”
