“We loved the place, quiet, clean and the owners were very nice to us. We stayed only one night. The next morning the lady gave us breakfast and we went our way to La Fortuna. We were able to have a fire pit at night it was very cool.”

Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a higher level room for my birthday, so that front desk staff knew how to make an impression. The room was crazy amazing fabulous. Look at their website pics as they are very accurate. Expedia includes two tours when booking, so we got a fabulous night frog tour, and a half-day personalized tour of their wildlife……

“Jorge and family are very gracious hosts. I booked this place partly because I wanted to support family run business. As expected: the lodges are rather rustic: good plumbing - meaning toilet flushed fine, and shower runs, albeit I couldn't figure out how to get hot water out. The knowledge that Jorge and Herman transferred to me made the stay enjoyable: on toucons, on fungi, on bees.”
