“My partner had never been to Orcas Island, and so it was my immense pleasure to introduce him to this lovely cottage! I have stayed here twice before, and each time I left feeling rejuvenated and completely relaxed - this stay was no different. The hot tub is one of the best features of this home, and the views of Buck Bay and Puget Sound are absolutely breathtaking. We hiked through Mt. Constitution and enjoyed the Cascade Falls which was a magical journey. Anyone who has the blessed……

“A very deep cleaning of the bedroom window sills..had lots of mouse droppings and mouse hair..a health hazard. The toilet tank and bowl barely got cleaned. The counters and fridge were sticky and someone sprayed an entire can of air freshener to cover up what smell like smoke. Also the living room sofa is so bad..you sink down 6 inches..which gave us back aches. We sat on the dining chairs or the floor. The sofa cushions had lots of hair and crumbs..not cleaned. It appeared to us that the maid……

“The cottage was the perfect place for a wonderful get away on San Juan Island. Mary is a very creative artist and has decorated the cottage beautifully and provided absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The gardens are filled with fantastic flowers and the patio and view are a great place to enjoy meals. We hope to return soon!”

I frequently am disappointed by the “hand me down” quality of a lot of vacation rental places. This is not one of them! All the furnishings were of great quality and in pristine condition. “We very much enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The checkin process was simple and communicated well in advance. The home itself is absolutely lovely, with thoughtful touches throughout. The upstairs deck provides great views and was our favorite breakfast spot. The kitchen was well appointed and just as nice as the pictures show.
