“Absolutely loved staying here and would stay again! The view of the water is so calming- we looked for wildlife and saw a crane eating. We read in the nook overlooking the water. We walked along the beach. The place has pictures of the parents who had owned the home and gives it a sweet feel. Highly recommend!”

“The Harbor Home Base was the perfect place for our family to stay. With 4 couples and two pre-schoolers, everyone was comfortably accommodated. The location is close to Oak Harbor and was only a 20-minute drive to Deception Pass, where the wedding was located. The entire interior of the home has been beautifully renovated and updated. “The house was great for our big family gathering. There was plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed The pool table the hot tub and the fire pit and did some hiking too. The owners were very responsive as they live right next door. Would definitely recommend them . Such a beautiful lake view. ”

“We enjoyed it, but some constructive criticism. * The door keypad code should be shortened. A 10-digit code is ridiculous. I believe 4 or 5 is adequate and would eliminate much frustration. *We rented after reading an April review noting the primary shower was terrible. The plumbing fixtures are old and not functional. The owner replied that the problem would be fixed. Well, it was not, and my we had to endure a trickle shower. I used the guest bath, but my wife likes the privacy of her bath.……

“The house is in a great location. The house is a little dated- appliances and decor. The house is listed at a premium rate due to the location but lacks other amenities such as updated appliances, bedding and WiFi. Watching the wildlife was the large living rooms windows was a great way to start and end the day. The largest bedroom that states it sleeps 5 has no heating source available and is very cold at night. ”
