“The house feels very well-loved. It has a real sense of personality, warmth, and whimsy. I appreciated my dealings with the host and how accommodating she was. It's cozy, as mentioned in the listing, but there's a very smart use of space (the kitchen has everything you need to cook full meals.) If you do have mobility issues, though, the bathroom is really tiny and the steps to the basement are quite narrow. But overall, I'd definitely recommend.”

“This property is beautiful. The house was incredibly clean, everything looks brand new. The rooms and beds were spacious and comfortable. The hot tub was a great way to relax. It is also extremely quiet in the area and provided a nice escape from the city. While sitting in the hot tub we got to watch deer and other animals wander through the yard. It was great! The house is very high tech, with motion sensors for the lights and Alexa control for many other things. Overall, this place was……

“We really enjoyed our stay. The first thing you see when you walk in is a beautiful garden, you can hear the birds in the morning when you walk outside. The host has a variety of pamphlets with things to do and maps of Victoria and surroundings which was very helpful to plan our day. The stay comes with lots of entertainment options from streaming, books and games. Also, it was very handy to have 2 bathrooms. We would definitely book again.”

“This was a beautiful property. Check-in was easy. The unit was clean with good amenities. Beautiful lake front view and access to the dock. Comfortable beds. very polite and helpful communication but would like communication to be consistently quicker (sometimes it took a full day for a request to change check in or check out or ask for items). ”
