“It is a lovely property and location. We had a great time. The kitchen has everything you should need for cooking. It is remote so keep in mind you are about 35 minutes from nearest grocery store. It is also about 2.5 miles on a gravel/dirt road. The hot tub is actually a large jetted bathtub. The views and location are amazing.”

“We really enjoyed the little lake cabin. The lake itself is beautiful and peaceful. The cabin is an old and dated up north cabin, but that is exactly what we were expecting based on the listing. We used the canoe which was nice and the kids took a dip in the lake. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was clean. Definitely a fun UP getaway!”

“We throughly enjoyed our week here. The home was clean and comfortable even a few days that were in the low 90-degrees. We brought charcoal for the grill but the provided “starter bag” was enough for the two times we grilled. I’m n arriving we were pleasantly surprised with a welcome basket of sweets, coffee, crackers, and pasta that pared well with the Romano spaghetti sauce and Italian salsa in the fridge - we actually went to the Italian store and brought back a LOT of their sauces, frozen……

The cabin itself was well-appointed and charming and the setting is a naturalist's dream. We were close enough to downtown to partake of everything Marquette has to offer, well within numerous beautiful hiking spots, and the convenience store is quirky and charming. We will definitely be back again!”

“We had a very great stay at this house. We normally stay in Au Train and decided to venture a little further west this year. The house itself was very clean and had a nice comfortable large couch and kitchen island for hanging out. There was not immediate beach access, but we used the canoe provided and our own paddle board to traverse the river and head to lake Superior. It was a very easy trip to do and the river was very shallow at the edges so my girls could swim easily. The sauna was also a……

“It was an excellent experience. Very low stress and pressure. Sit on the front porch and join the hummingbirds, chipmunks and blue jays with the sound of the river flowing in the background. Loved it!!!”
