“getting in was a bit of a hassle, did not get the code at first, but once we were in, so glad it worked out. Very cute cottage, very clean, lots of nice thoughtful extra items to use in case you forgot something. “We were renting while in town for a business trip. This is a wonderful property. It was great to be able to make our own meals instead of going out for every meal. We didn't have a lot of extra time for recreation and exploring but this was a nice central location for everything we were able to do. “loved this property, secluded, quiet. Had everything we needed, coffee makers, utensils, washer/dryer, outdoor fire pit, to name a few. a couple of miles of the main road, but very scenic. Only negative, (and wasn't really a negative), the road to Harpers Ferry was out, had to use detour, and extra 20 minute drive, but was a beautiful detour drive!”

“We wanted a quiet getaway and that’s exactly what we got. We like Hedgesville’s proximity to Berkeley Springs, Harpers Ferry and Winchester, VA. Hedgesville itself doesn’t have a lot going on - a few independent restaurants & shops, a Martin’s grocery store. If you’re looking for Walmart or chain restaurants, there are plenty in nearby Martinsburg. This visit for us, though, was all about staying in and enjoying the woods around us.
