“We wanted a quiet getaway and that’s exactly what we got. We like Hedgesville’s proximity to Berkeley Springs, Harpers Ferry and Winchester, VA. Hedgesville itself doesn’t have a lot going on - a few independent restaurants & shops, a Martin’s grocery store. If you’re looking for Walmart or chain restaurants, there are plenty in nearby Martinsburg. This visit for us, though, was all about staying in and enjoying the woods around us. While there are half a dozen or so homes around the cabin,……

“Cozy little house. We had four golfers and three others staying and the house worked well for us. We utilized the kitchen and outside grill multiple times and it was very convenient. The host was helpful and communicative.”

It felt like home. The bonus was the owner, who was so helpful and avaliable to assist with whatever we needed. The property manager who lives next door was also very helpful when we needed to do laundry and could not find the washing machine and dryer. She was there promptly to help us. I only have one……

“loved this property, secluded, quiet. Had everything we needed, coffee makers, utensils, washer/dryer, outdoor fire pit, to name a few. a couple of miles of the main road, but very scenic. Only negative, (and wasn't really a negative), the road to Harpers Ferry was out, had to use detour, and extra 20 minute drive, but was a beautiful detour drive!”
