“Excellent location in Haliburton. Staff was excellent. Rooms require some updating especially the bathroom. Wood for the room was very pricey and not having the dining room for food closed was difficult especially on a weekend of a snowstorm. Otherwise beautiful location and the ice rink, outdoor fire and option to snowshoe was great. ”

“Auf den ersten Blick von außen ist man vom historischen Gebäude (erbaut 1915) und der gepflegten Gartenanlage auf der Eingangsseite begeistert. Wenn man allerdings näher kommt, blättert die Bilderbuch-Fassade buchstäblich. Hier sind Renovierungsarbeiten fällig. Die Einrichtung wirkt ebenfalls sehr opulent und historisch. Insgesamt also stimmig. Jedoch hat auch die ihre besten Zeiten hinter sich. Spa war geschlossen. In unserem großen Zimmer konnte man die Badewanne nicht benutzen, die Dusche……

“We spent a wonderful week at this property. Everything is very clean, and the beds are very comfy. Lovely paths to the lake where there are kayaks, paddleboards to use. Highly recommend. tand a canoe to use.”

“We brought our own kayaks and were able to kayak right there on site. Fishing too. Went to town, 5 mins away for meals. May come back and golf next time. Barry’s Bay is a quaint town to visit. Lots to do.”
