“This is the second year my closest friends and I gather at The Yellow Rose in Shulenburg, and I can't say enough about how WONDERFUL the entire trip went. The rooms are huge, there's plenty of beds and even extra space if we needed (we don't, but it's nice to have the room). We stayed in the beautiful pool enjoying the scenery most of the day. We are already planning on returning next year!! We were all wondering if the cake would be there again, and we got in to a debate about which one was……

“Incredible work of art, lovingly restored. Top notch furnishings and appliances, nostalgic decoration throughout. Enjoyed the juke box, the back yard, firepit and grill. Great stay!”

“This place met ALL expectations! You can't find a better place to get away from every day hustle and bustle! The family really enjoyed being outdoors in the pool, grilling and also catching fish as well as watching the deer and other critters. The house is well kept and stocked with all that's needed for an enjoyable stay!”

We all enjoyed spending time out on the porch just enjoying nature and family time. This place is so nice and clean and our host was very courteous and friendly. “We loved our visit to the country! Enjoyed coffee on the porch every morning while watching the wildlife. The home has all you need so you can focus on unwinding. Beds and linens are comfortable, and the upstairs is nice for the kids to have their own space. We can’t wait to return!”

“This ended up being the perfect house to stay at since we were in town visiting our extended family. It was perfect for my older teens/young adults to be able to join us and spend time with their younger siblings while having lots of space for us all to spread out. The hosts were great with communication and all the little amenities made it so easy for us to settle in quickly. ”
