“We had a wonderful time at the property. It is much more spacious than the pictures do it justice. The house was ls clean and well organized and K, the property owner was fantastic. Very responsive to questions and even came and plowed and salted while we were there due to the slow and ice storm we experienced. The property is about 25’ from Elk Mountain but the drive is easy and pretty. I would suggest AWD or FWD of going during the winter since many of the roads in that area are snow and ice……

“This is not a luxury hotel - but this is a great property for getting away from it all with enough room for an extended family! The kitchen is huge and well stocked. Each room has its own window AC and several rooms have their own bathroom. The Dining Room/Sunroom/Living Room layout is great for large groups - we even moved tables around and fit our whole family (20 people) at one long table one night! Don't worry about packing linens and towels (except maybe a beach towel) as that is all taken……

“The host and her husband are very kind and provided a wonderful home and experience. Their hospitality was beyond that of the other rentals I’ve utilized in the past and they go above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful and comfortable stay. Me and my family will certainly stay again in the future as economy and life allows. Thank you Wanda and terry you have both been wonder and we enjoyed this stay. You two exceeded our expectations.”

“Everything was great for our stay. The listing was very accurate in terms of all of the amenities and exactly what everything looks like. The one thing that I would say is that the bottom room ceiling is very low so it really is only for children. There is not much around the property but if you go 5-7 minutes up the road there is a nice breakfast spot.”

“We were welcomed with fresh eggs and bread. Melissa was amazing to work with and anything that came up. She addressed quickly. It was on beautiful piece of property, access was great. Wish we could’ve stayed longer but everything is well kept for a 200 year-old house! It was the experience I wanted our family to have!”

“The home was beautiful (exactly as shown in the pictures) and a nice get away from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life. Our kids loved swimming in the pool and using the floats provided. We saw several deer which they loved, and took a walk to visit the cows down the road. There are some nice hikes and restaurants around. The owner was quick to respond to any questions and the house was equipped with all we could need!”

“We spent five nights at this amazing property and it is by far one of the most beautiful and serene places we’ve ever stayed. The photos are truly representative of the farm’s many wonderful spaces. Everywhere you look the view is stunning. The early light barely illuminating the horses as they graze in the morning fog, the deer feeding in the upper field at twilight and the moon and stars shining brightly over the pond are images that will stay with us. “Scott & Ann were both super communicative. All pictures matched the property, and our stay was perfect. With the snow over the weekend, Scott was nice enough to plow the driveway for us on the Sunday morning. Everything was great! We used the firepit, the sleds, the pool table. Only downside is no cell coverage in the area, but WiFi was enough for us! They had Roku, lots of games, and plenty of space to accommodate my group of 22 people.
