“Everything was wonderful. The property was beautiful. There were other people staying at the homes on site, but none of it was a distraction. Close enough to town to do excursions. The only thing I would add is maybe a screen door so that you could allow some extra fresh air in and light. Hosts were wonderful and easy to contact when we needed something. Recommend for a cozy gate away.”

“My boyfriend, dog, and I stayed at GSS this last weekend. The apartment is spotless, everything well marked and well thought out. Tammy was lovely, and responded quickly to all our questions. We greatly enjoyed walking around the property with our dog, checking out the horses and chickens and we caught a glimpse of a barn cat. The property is 15 min away from downtown Hagerstown and we had some very good food there. Also super close to a variety of good hiking spots. I would certainly return and……

“The location is quite secluded. It is attached to a large house. No one was around the entire weekend. Slightly creepy. The accommodations were clean but no coziness, tile flooring and fluorescent lighting. The bathroom felt very dormitory. When we arrived the house was dark and cold. It took a while for it to warm up. The house is on well water and the water stinks, BAD. It would be fun with a large group but it was just the two of us. It was fine for the weekend but I would not stay here……

“From an architectural standpoint, it was neat to stay in this old home. It was very well maintained and the floors and walls were well maintained. Unfortunately, the one carpeted room (a sun porch) had a very funky smell and the bedroom throw rugs were very dusty. This is easily fixed. The sitting furniture was not very comfortable. That's understandable for the few period pieces, but the modern pieces could be more comfortable. Also an easy fix. You also don't have control on the heat. It's old……

“This little cabin was amazing. The bed was super comfy and the AC unit kept us nice and cool during our stay. The cabin was clean and well stocked on towels and a few other amenities. Will definitely be going back. ”
