“Decent spot on the beach ”

“This rating would have been 5 stars across the board however the hotel is older and some minor updates need to be made. However, it was very clean, the staff were helpful and kind. The location was in a safe place and convenient to the highway and stores. Would absolutely stay here again if in the area. ”

“I really enjoyed staying at The Salty Mermaid. It is an absolutely beautiful location! It is a small hotel and doesn't seem fancy from the exterior, but it was clean and nice inside! It was probably one of the best locations you can get, as you walk right out on the beach, you have chairs and umbrellas provided, and you can walk to the shops and restaurants! I will definitely be going back! ”

“Easy to stay ”

“The stay was great! We stayed three nights for rockville and it was much better than where we went last year. The breakfast at the cute cafe next door was delicious ( belgian waffles every morning😊 ) and the people were very friendly, huge shoutout to the lady there overnight! She was so kind and helpful and had the perfect energy! The only thing holding back on 5 stars is the fact that there wasn't a fridge in the room, especially given how much it cost to stay there. Might come back next year……

“Check in was a breeze. I was asssigned a unit and all the relevent information was provided to me. Location is excellent if you looking to visit the beaches or just hang out in Daytona. Room was comfortable with a desk, fridge, microwave and a seperate sink. Shower does take a little time to come to hot temperature but when it does it feels great after a long day.”
