“Nice clean and comfortable apartment. Building is old and out dated so the elevator was broken and we had to use the steps and walk 3 flights other than that we enjoy the area pretty nice quiet area!!!!”

“My family of 4 stayed for a long weekend. The property was clean, beautifully decorated with plenty of space. We will be staying here again. I highly recommend!”

“Stayed at this property for a family event in Detroit. Excellent property with great access to Ford Field and Comerica Park. Host was very attentive to questions and insuring we had an excellent time. Would recommend this property for a large group stay in Motown!!!!! Jim B”

“Rating should be 3.5 stars. 4 adult middle aged males stayed at this Ferndale apartment. We spent the weekend at the Detroit curling club and only slept here. So It meant our needs. When we arrived there was no power to the back bedrooms and 4 or 5 space heaters were spread around the apartment. So clearly a regular furnace was not working. After 10 mins of exploring. We figured out the back bedroom space heater was tripping out power to bedrooms. That was annoying. I view a vrbo rental……

“I was surprised when stepping out of my car how quiet the neighborhood was. Only moments away from downtown Detroit but you would think you were in Mayberry. Everything was nicely decorated, luxury linens, and water pressure for days. I really can't say enough good things about this stay!”

“Newly renovated was the only positive. Wasn’t upfront about the plugged toilet and tried to mask the smell by locking the door and putting bleach in the bottom of the dishwasher and Lysol. Was promised 2 bathrooms and 4 adults from different families had to use one. A charge of garbage disposal for $50 We were from a different country - where is the garbage going to go. Back to Canada 🇨🇦”

“Would stay there again. Could use a few more things in the kitchen. Baking sheet and some sugar and sweeteners for the coffee. Only major complaint was floors had a greasy film on them and need a good steam cleaning or replacing. Could not go with out shoes. No toddler or baby would be allowed on them the way they were.”

“The place was clean, the one actual bed was comfortable, the futon was ok. Due to unforeseen circumstances, some members of our family of 7 were unable to join us, so I am not able to comment on the blowup mattresses for larger groups. The kitchen seemed to be stocked with enough dish ware and appliances to make food. Again, due to a change in circumstances, we ended up ordering takeout and going to Belle Isle to meet the rest of our family, so we did not actually use the kitchen for more than……

“It was great to bring our dogs with us on our visit to Detroit. The accommodations were Clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed. The neighbors were pleasant and the bar down the street was a nice place to have a drink. We visited Belle Isle and Gross Pointe Park. We found great restaurants that allowed dogs for outside dining. Great trip! ”

“Our pre-stay interaction was ok after the shock of the owner not seeming to be aware of our reservation. But was kind enough to let us pay for an early arrival.What we found when we arrived: Snowy, wet day and not mats in front of the door...track snow/slush into the house. Barely any heat in the main living area...registers warm, but not blowing heat. Shower with no pressure. No hair dryer. Washer and dryer not working. This property was not prepared for a stay. But the view is……
