“Staying at this bed and breakfast was like stepping into another time. The mansion is beautifully preserved, and every room has its own unique personality, like an art gallery at every turn. Even the music playing throughout the mansion during breakfast made you feel transported. Jim and Susie were so warm and welcoming. They waited up for us when we arrived late, gave us a thoughtful tour, and somehow still had the energy to make us feel completely at home. Over breakfast the next morning……

They told me the heat in the room I was given possibly didn’t work and had provided a heater which actually wasn’t needed since heat was indeed working. Overall my only complaint is there a few spots that I don’t think are cleaned often such as windowsills. Bed sheets towels and everything else was very clean. We had a balcony lake view and spent so much time out there. I would definitely stay here again if we were ever back in the area.”

The location was perfect for visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame and exploring Cooperstown—just a short, scenic drive away. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We really appreciated the freedom to use the shared kitchen and loved helping ourselves to fresh coffee each morning. Sabina checked us in and was incredibly kind and helpful.
