“My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your cabin. The view was out of this world, the peacefulness and quietness was so restful, we really enjoyed the hot tub times. When we took our walks, it was so fun seeing all the deer. Upon arriving at the cabin, we found it very clean. He spent a lot of our time out on the deck, enjoying the view and playing our games. We hope to book a stay there again.”

“The views from the outdoor seating area are top notch. Looking out across the sound every night at sunset was the perfect way to end the day. This was the perfect spot for our stay. Birds and deer every morning in the yard and on our way off and on the island as well. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our trip everything was perfect. ”

“The boat was very inviting, clean and equipped with a nice coffee press, plush towels and plenty of dishware for a relaxing stay.The boat presented very well and had comfortable beds and linens for a sound and rejuvenating sleep.The location was ideal with parking onsite and plenty of shops, restaurants and breweries nearby within walking distance.I look forward to return visits in the near future, this as the Shamrockin is a special place.”

“Very Comfortable with a well appointed Kitchen. Excellent view of Hood Canal and occasional glimpses of mountains through the fog and clouds. Would recommend visiting the Union Visitor Center for good information about the sites and activities in the area. We enjoyed a few hikes to waterfalls and dinner of Oysters and Dungenese crabs. Preparing meals was easy in the spacious and well appointed kitchen. Perhaps the only drawback was the motorcycles on the road below the cabin and canal. I……

“My wife and I got away for a long weekend after being kid-free. We brought kayaks and wanted to explore the area. We enjoyed the location very much, with easy access to Hoodsport and Hama Hama. The access to the water wasn't as easy as we hoped, but the fact that there's a little county park in front of the house did work out for us. The neighbors seem very protective of the beach though, so that's weird. Luckily the smoke from the Bear Gulch fire didn't come down low enough to bother us either,……

“Great stay! Very unique and charming building, and kind hosts. Small but perfect for a short stay. Great attention to detail!”

“I was looking for a quiet space with a view and that’s exactly what I got! Beautiful views from the huge back porch and some seals visited near the shore! At low tide you can find lots of shells and see some starfish. I would stay here again. It is also dog-friendly and my pups had a great time running up and down the shore.”

“Amazing little Gem near Gig Harbor! We had a wonderful stay! The first night we arrived very late. It was pouring down rain and dark outside. We were able to find the place very easily and once in it was very cozy. There is a little door that opens up to the forest and was really peaceful listening to the rain all night. “We had a wonderful stay on the LYLA. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the wine fridge and french press for our coffee in the morning. The welcome bottle of wine and snacks were greatly appreciated and such a nice touch. We would love to go back and explore more of the area as there seemed to be much to do within walking distance.”

“If I could give it more stars, I would. This lovely cottage is clean and comfortable and offers everything you need to enjoy a waterfront experience. The views are spectacular and we saw all kinds of wildlife right from the deck. An eagle, otters, seals, dolphins, herons and more. Amazing. We hope to return someday.”
