“We used the pub as we were visiting family the next day & live in Devon. The room was nice, well fitted out & comfortable. The atmosphere was almost like staying at someone's house, very relaxed & cosy. The food was really good, I recommend the blue cheese burger! Breakfast was excellent although I'd have like an option of cereal & orange juice in addition to the menu options. Staff were excellent & very helpful, although top marks go to Guiness, the pup cockapoo, who is an absolute star!!!……

“We stayed there for 5 nights with our 2 teen girls joining over the weekend. Everything was really good: the hospitality, the room and bedding, breakfast, local restaurant guide and even the flush at the toilet. Parking was an issue after 8pm as usually all the closest parking lots would be full.”

“Beautiful village setting and close to everything. A few minor things that could be improved, the bed was so hard that it was hard to sleep and the noise in the hall from doors slamming from the automatic door closers and then load beeping when the doors didn’t quite close. So the food was good and the staff were fine but a lot of noise when you’re in the room.”
