“Had a wonderful stay at this house for a gymnastics state meet in Gainesville. Price was great, house was spotless and had everything we needed. Loved that pets are allowed even though some of our party couldn't come and the dog stayed home with them, we loved having the option initially. Communication was easy and immediate. Would definitely stay here again.”

“We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful property. The beds were comfortable, everything was spotless and it was a very private location . The house is located really close to quaint downtown High Springs and the beautiful surrounding nature . We enjoyed having a little bonfire each evening after a long day at the springs and on the river. . Will definitely return. ”

“The host's were very friendly and available. The property is in a great location and easily accessible to many natural attractions. The main road has a nice bike / walking path towards town. This is a typical farm / country setting that is comfortable. There are no extravagant furnishings, just a nice back yard, fire pit and rod iron lawn furniture with cushions. The above ground pool was welcoming but not ideal for getting in and out of at our age. There is a small bathroom with a shower……

“My family and I stayed at the Haven as we had a family wedding to attend. The house was absolutely perfect, check in was super easy, communication was great when we had a few questions, and it really felt like you were at home. Especially loved sitting on the back patio in the mornings drinking my coffee ! We will definitely be back to stay again when we have a chance so we can enjoy all the outside goodies that are supplied (kayaks, bikes, the grills, and the pizza oven). ”

“Staying here was a lovely experience; the house was clean, and having such a beautiful backyard in a quiet neighborhood was great. Was also in a very convenient area, close to lots of amenities and close to UF. Would absolute recommend this gem of a place.”

“The cabin is small but has everything you need. From a small fully equipped kitchen to bathroom and kayaks/canoes, the place was great. There was a grill and fire pit. One really big downside was the amount of ticks. You could not do anything outside without one of those jumping on your skin. The water outback was a little dark so not made for swimming but you could go for a little ride on canoe if you wanted.”

“Everything was just as advertised. Property was located right on the Sante Fe River a very, very short canoe paddle to the Ichetucknee River.If you haven't been the the Ichetucknee River is a must. There was plenty of room for sleeping and the kitchen was well equipped. The backyard was large and fenced for our doodle. It was very easy to find even arriving after dark. We brought our boat but the home is well equipped with kayaks, canoes, paddles etc. Melissa was very responsive and a great……

“This house/cabin is PERFECTLY situated on the Ichetucknee River. Clean, comfortable… huge screened in porches. It took our family about 2 and a half hours to paddle on the (available) kayaks upriver into the State Park and to the midpoint launch, and an hour to float/paddle back. The river access is… such a treat, and the deck out at the edge was much enjoyed. We saw a couple manatees swim by, even in April, which was a surprise.”

“Finding this cozy cottage covered in trees and it's shady porch was just what I needed to get away from the city. It is very centrally located to many springs and beautiful natural areas and works as a great home base. It only 2 blocks from Ft. White, but you feel like you are out in the country. I LOVED having the windows open and not having to worry who was looking in. Really enjoyed the stay, also fenced yard great for dogs.”
