“New owner as of few weeks ago. Restoration work being done. Beautiful setting, Pecky cypress ceilings in main area. Wood floors with beautiful carpeting up stairways and through halls. Very clean. My room appeared to be recently painted. Very comfortable. Wi-fi iffy. Staff very pleasant & helpful. Continental breakfast. Apparently lightning strike on chimney has created some problems. Staff said that plans are to closed and complete repairs after June 17th. When that is done, this……

“We stayed here for a 3 day weekend. We visited River Ranch Resort and this was a more affordable stay that was about 30 minutes away. The hotel room was nice, very clean, and comfortable. It was a very quiet and relaxing stay. We did not have any signal but the WiFi worked fine. The no signal made it a little difficult to get around without our phone GPS but you can manage if you pay attention to the roads which is not too complicated. “This property is completely misrepresented! First off you have to go through someone's gate and yard to access the boat behind their house. The dock and boat is completely surrounded by marsh, you can't see the water. I'm not even sure the boat is in water. The boat had dirt on it and a slightly rusty door, so it is not freshly remodeled. There were dead flies all over a countertop, so no cleaning before we came. “Nice little place to stay for a few days. It had everything we needed to be comfortable. Modern decor is easy on the eyes. Everything was neat and clean. The pillows on the bed are too hard to be comfortable for sleep but there are softer ones in the closet. The coffee bar could use a press on /off light under the shelf. The air dryer bearings are failing so device needs replacement. Overall a solid 9/10”
