“This location was great for our small crew of kayakers and eBikers. There were plenty of places to drop in kayaks along the river, and the eBike trail at the end of the driveway went for many, many miles.Stuart was very helpful and quickly answered all of our questions. The gardens were beautiful, and great to hang out by the fire when night time came.”

“5 adults over Christmas. Fireplace worked well. No problem with hot water with 5 people. Double bed in one room tilted to one side. Resolved by stuffing many pillows under mattress to level bed. Few towels and dishtowels. washer and dryer superb. Great place for our Golden Retriever. Door to back yard passes cold air so heat is on most of the time. Furnaced worked real well. Safety alert:front and back porched are tiled. THEY are very slippery. We had to put rubber yoga mats on……

“We had a great stay at this property, and it worked really well for our family gathering. David, the Host, was incredibly responsive, and the check-in/check-out process could not have been easier. The house was very spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to relax without feeling crowded. The outdoor property was a real highlight — peaceful, private, and the hot tub was a perfect spot to unwind at the end of the day. “Super clean and comfy home!”

“We stayed here for 16 days in May 2025. We live locally, but we needed a place to stay while contractors repaired flood damage in our home. With everything going on at our own house, our nerves were pretty fried. Given our frazzled state, words fail to describe my gratitude for being able to stay at this home. The house is immaculate and extremely well-maintained. The gardens defy description. There were two acres of fenced-in yard for our dogs. The home and garden have several beautiful places……

“Five old college friends enjoyed a getaway at this beautiful VRVO rental. The kitchen and bathrooms were beautiful and stocked with everything we may need! The hostess was available and welcoming. Overall, it was a great trip at a great location.”

“Overall we were very pleased with our stay! The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. There is a wide open park area within walking distance. The location is very convenient off of the main roads and near shopping. There were a couple of things that would have made our stay better, but after speaking with the owner directly, he has already implemented all of our suggestions so there is no need to mention them. ”
