The unique daily game drives had our Bush Bar (best bar in South Africa, thanks to Benjamin and Penwey) interrupted by a Nyala being chased by a wild dog. “Superbe lodge intimiste (peu de chambres) situé dans les profondeurs du parc Kruger. Aucun dérangement des autres hôtes ce qui permet d’être au cœur de la nature. Belle suite avec terrasse privative nous permettant d’observer les nombreux animaux (éléphants, girafes …) Personnels très attentionnés. “We had an amazing time at Hamilton’s! Since it sits next to a seasonal river, we saw so many animals right at the property when they came out to drink. Being in a private concession also meant no crowds during our game drives. The food and service was impeccable! Every meal was meticulously prepared. “A 30 minute drive from the Opren gate of Kruger Park and a good price/value considering other nearby accommodations are much higher priced. Seemed to be newer with a good air conditioner and was clean. This is not a true boutique hotel but more like a rental of a large 1 bedroom 2 story townhouse in a gated townhouse community on a hilltop. “The place is lovely and me and my lady enjoyed it. The only issue I had was the bed, it was not that comfortable, same goes to the pillows, they where big. Oh and board needs some attention because when you walk inside the tent your partner got to wake up because they squicky. But nevertheless I enjoyed it, even proposed and she said yes”
