“Amazing place to stay lived up to its name for sure”

“A lovely spot by Colgate and next to a reservoir! Saw loons and other wildlife. Had some issues with the cleanliness of the place upon arrival and had to go get some supplies that were not available. With some care and attention, this will be a lovely weekend getaway.”

“The house was beautiful and even bigger than we expected. The grounds around the house (sheltered patio, fire pit, pool, etc.) were a delightful addition to our group’s stay as well. The host was very nice and made the check in and check out process very easy. The only issue we faced was that the house got very warm as the house is not air conditioned, though there were a few floor AC units and fans available. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely return in the future.”

“Perfect little getaway from the chaos of the world. Perfect spot to enjoy nature, fish, hike and relax. Our hosts were absolutely wonderful and made sure everything was perfect. Will be back again. ”

“We rented this property for five families attending CASV. We checked in and left within 1 hour and had to scramble to get the last hotel rooms available. The property is severely neglected. Porcelain is missing in the bathtubs with mold present all over the shower curtains. Our sheets were soiled and had hair and dirt covering them and the mattress pad. The kitchen had handles missing on the drawers and no shelving and plastic plates and cups, not dishes. The amount of cobwebs, active spiderwebs……

“We needed a place to rest before helping my sister move out of her dorm. She attends Colgate and it is a 5 minute drive from where we stayed. This was a comfortable place and had everything we needed! ”
