“I have stayed in many rental properties in the last 20 years and never been in a rental with so little. One garbage bag, one roll of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels. Don’t plan on cooking in the kitchen - the 2 frying pans should be thrown out, the silverware and dishes are minimal at best; if 4 people were staying there, it would be ridiculous! No hair dryer! I’ve never stayed in a place with no hair dryer! And after we moved in, we discovered that the indoor sliders were filthy -……

“The picture on VRBO does not depict condition of property. I chose not to stay there due to the conditions. Very unkept, trash cans everywhere, very limited parking, siding rippled like there had been a fire or it melted. Attempted to get money back.”

“What a fantastic spot at Wells! This whole process was smooth as butter! The house was so cute and filled with anything you could need! We enjoyed dinner out and a dinner in! We would use this spot again! ”

“The pictures are accurate. Darling little cottage. It was the perfect size for my husband and I. We spent each morning drinking coffee in the screened in porch. Loovely! The bedroom was very small and a dresser that I used for some things, but am thankful for the luggage racks in the living room so we didn't have to keep them on the floor. Laundry room was good and spacious. I would stay here again. Wells is a nice town.”

“Boomfish Cottage is a cozy place with everything you could need . It was clean , comfy and serene . It provided the perfect calm for us during a weekend long family wedding at nearby Caswell Flower Farm . It was also easy access for an older person ( me) as well as small children and my little ShihTzu rescue dogs . My granddaughters came by and loved catching minnows in the still warm lake. Extra bonus was enjoying the peak foliage at the lake . Eric , the property manager was very communicative……

“We had a wonderful week at Cottage 9. It was very quiet and occupants in the other cottages both owners and renters were friendly. The pool was wonderful especially for our 10 year old grandchild after a day of surf camp. The food options very close by were great.”
