“A lovely old inn, upgraded and updated to offer all of the contemporary comforts one might want, including free WiFi /Internet. The room was medium size, with a queen /double bed and wonderfully illuminated bb its skylight. The bed and bed linens were outstanding; couldn’t be better. “Fantastic stay. We were allowed to check in really early on our day of arrival, which made it an even better stay. Checked in around 9am. We stayed in room number 4, which was located at the back of the hotel. Lovely room ,which was immaculate in decor and cleanliness.Nice sized ensuite with a lovely shower. Nice touch with the complimentary biscuits and toiletries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“Staff are worth their weight in gold and the Canford boasts some heavy weights. Take a walk along the nearby promenade and take in the surrounding area and its wealthy residents. Food at breakfast and dinner was superb. This establishment like so many other places is a dog friendly hotel and bar. On a damp day, your nose will remind you.
