“This is certainly not a place you will stumble across on your way to somewhere else, but it's certainly worth a visit. A great boutique hotel with comfortable and interesting rooms. Great surroundings and wonderful view across the Wirral. A menu which is significantly more interesting than the standard 'pub menu'. The prawn pil pil was particularly tasty. And if you're into non-meat meals, the pithivier is well worth a try. Very tasty breakfast too. We'll definitely be back!”

“We love staying here and use it when we are visiting our daughter at Uni. It's an ideal location and we are only a few minutes walk from the bars and restaurants for the evening . It's also super close to the racecourse if people are visiting for that. The rooms are finished to a high standard and offer a comfy relaxed stay. ”

“Great hotel. Had a nice upgrade. The room had a comfy bed and was very clean. There was an ac unit in the bedroom which helped cool the room down. The only thing was the shower pressure was very low and cut out a couple of times. ”

“quite noizy for the room located on the road side, even after close the window. Luckily the staff in the frant desk was very kind to exchange our room close to the less noizy corner. Otherwise this is a very good choice hotel in terms of CP value. ”
