“This was our second stay here at this magical cottage. The oceanfront location is amazing, the grounds are immaculate, the pool is refreshing, the proximity to Haleiwa and Wahiawa is so convenient. The peace and quiet is so relaxing. A touch of old Hawaii. Simply enchanting.”

“My brother, and I paid for a two bedroom two bathroom hotel and when we confirmed and paid the pictures showed us a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom suite. When we were trying to check in they had a 1 bedroom apartment this was a complete scam and misrepresentation! I will be reporting this owner to the police and authorities if my money it’s refunded to us we didn’t even stay there! Terrible service ”

“Beautiful home in a peaceful neighborhood. Very comfortable! Bring your bug repellent as the mosquitoes and flies are present outside. Some of the nearby beaches do not seem tourist friendly but other nearby beaches were tourist friendly. Bring inside shoes as they request guests take shoes off before entering. ”

“My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Kai Lani. The condo is well eqipped and and clean. The Kapolei area has all that you mght desire. Good restaurants and shopping are but a short drive away. We enjoyed our morning walks along the KoOlina lagoons. We miss Kai Lani already, and we look forward to our next stay.”

“The property sits on the shore of the leeward side of the island up the west coast away from the big cities. If you are looking for a relaxing time in a casual atmosphere this is definitely the place. It has all the basic amenities. Nothing fancy, but nothing missing. The daily sunsets were an amazing pleasure, with the sounds of the waves breaking an added relaxing sound. We look forward to our return visit. ”

“The home was beautiful, clean, well decorated, and very comfortable. There was plenty of space for our family of 5. The mountain views were beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked. The beach towels and equipment were very nice to have available. However, the location is terrible. The actual subdivision is nice and safe because it is gated, but it is in a bad part of town. “Our family of five adults and one infant truly enjoyed our stay! The house is lovely, well-appointed, clean, secure, and comfortable. The views of the mountains are spectacular, and you can see the ocean in the distance. On our last night, the full moon lit a glowing path across the water. I will say that there are tent encampments along the shoreline nearest the property, so we were not confident in visiting the local beaches. “This rental was perfect for our family trip, tucked away in the foothills in a private gated community. Spacious and welcoming had everything we needed to enjoy our downtime. Our host was helpful and checked in on us to ensure we were having a good time. ”

“Clean, beautiful views, close to uncrowded beaches, hiking, wildlife, caves. If you want to get away from your hectic life and reconnect stay here. Makaha Valley is about 1 hr north from downtown Honolulu and 30 min from the Disney/ Four Seasons resort area. You will need a vehicle. We loved it, but it depends upon what you are looking for. More locals live in this area and there are some sketch spots along the way. Homeless, etc. But we never felt unsafe and the property itself is in a gated……
