“Lovely staff. Clean room. Good food. Great location. Breakfast was fab. Fish and chips in Dukes next door (part of the hotel chain)was amazing. But the bedroom was so hot. No radiator or towel rail were on but the room was like a sauna. Slept on top of bed with window wide open but very hot all night!”

“Fabulous house bang in the middle of Axminster. Lived in Axminster for 6 years and knew where this was but not realised the size of the house. Back for the weekend to see friends, etc. This is an exquisite properly. Amazing room and cosy guest lounge so you don’t have to sit on the bed in the room. Great breakfast. Will definitely return ”

“I absolutely loved my stay at the Nethleigh. I stayed in the room called The Snug, and it admirably lived up to the name. It was comfortable and very cozy. There was a small fireplace in the room with wood provided for a crackling fire, though I didn't make one. The owner had provided fresh milk in the fridge for my hot drinks, as well as a variety of teas and coffees. The mugs and plates were very nice, and there were lovely wine glasses available had I wanted to use them. A small table and……

“Overall another lovely stay at The Kingswood. The lounge is lovely, the quiz a bonus and staff all delightful - special shoutout to Steve who is an asset all round. Lots of personal attention including remembering our son’s name. Breakfast is great quality and tasty with good choice. Room was a bit warm despite radiators being off and there’s no aircon. Windows do open but it can be noisy if you look out onto the car park. A rather noisy rattly fan started up each morning at 7 at the back of the……
