“The forest and the wildlife are the reason for staying here so in that respect this place gets 10 out of 10. We did a birding tour and a night walk and took advantage of the free nature walk. The latter was conducted by Joel and I strongly encourage people not to pass on this even though they may have other tours booked. It was absolutely superb and held our interest for every minute of the 3 hours. The accommodation is simple. The beds were a little hard and the pillows win the prize for the……

“Really nice property on the river with excellent, very kind owners. Highly recommended eating dinner here while you stay, the food was excellent. You get treated lile family. Rooms have AC, wifi, shower, toilet, television. ”

Tiene un restaurante muy bueno, especialidad en carnes, aunque todo lo que pedimos estuvo muy bien. Desayuno bueno, variado, aunque quizás podría ser un poco más abundante. Es lo único a mejorar. “This is a charming resort. Please don’t expect five star luxury but the facilities are very nice and the team extremely friendly. They cater for larger groups but that was not a problem. The area has some wonderful walks and wildlife - although unfortunately we did not see any sloths. ”

“It’s a fantastic lodge in the middle of the kungör. The cabins are very rustic, but has electricity and a private bathroom. Wi-Fi in the public building. Good food, wine and beer in the restaurant. Nice tours in the jungle and fantastic personel. If you don’t expect a five star hotel, than you get a five star experience.”

“My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed La Finca Azul, and especially the family whose vision it is -- including Nacho, Oli, and Cece, the three dogs. I've stayed in agroturismos in Italy, and this was a very similar experience, complete with the fabulous food. I'm pretty sure Italy doesn't offer swimming by yourself in a mountain stream surrounded by the echoes of howler monkeys. ”

“This was an inexpensive option for our family to stay in Sarapiqui. The property is interesting because of the covered pathways and proximity to two miles of rainforest trails, and we spied frogs, howler monkeys, iguana, caterpillars, etc. Breakfast was wonderful. There is no air conditioning or hot water, which was fine for us. Wet clothes will take a looooong time to hang dry. We are a family of 6, and I thought from photos that we would likely have a room with bunk beds. Instead we were given……
