“It is a very eclectic hotel with unique lounging areas on the different floors. Staff were great and breakfast was good. There was an issue with no curtains or shades on the door to one of the balconies in our room but being on the 3rd floor mitigate any exposure. We will definitely stay again if we are ever in Johannesburg again ”

“Great location. Close to Rosebank where there are many great restaurants to chose from. Lovely breakfast. Friendly service. Only suggestion is for an aircon as fan was super noisy in room. Cannot leave windows open due to mosquitoes. Other than that we will be back. ”

“Foxwood House is a historic building with the main house and several out buildings. I had originally booked Coach House. we arrived in the dark (cause it sets early here) and basically just unpacked, exhausted from long flight. TV was not working so the manager moved us to Onze Emmie suite. WOW loved it. had a lovely patio we enjoyed. large room, large bathroom.the surrounding area is very wild with flowers and vines and walking paths. I'm sure people could find fault with it but I loved the 2……

“It was nice to have the space at Villa Moyal, but with everything around you surrounded by high fences, razor & electric wire, I was not excited to walk at night. I would have rather stayed a few blocks away, closer to the restaurants and shops of Melrose Arch. ”

“Customer service was horrible. Breakfast was advertised as available and when I requested breakfast the second morning no one knew what was on the menu, then I was told I can't get breakfast until one day later as you have to put your order in one day in advance. Its very cold in Johannesburg right now, and when my heater was broken. They gave me three different portable heater, two were broken. The third one worked but was rattling so loud it was nearly impossible to sleep. It was noisy in the……
